PLJR CaseMind: terms and notice

PLJR CaseMind is part of PLJR Online. Your PLJR Online account and the PLJR Online terms apply; this page adds what is particular to CaseMind.

What CaseMind does

CaseMind reads the papers you add to a case and builds a case file from them: a timeline of dated events, the issues the court has to decide, the authorities found for each issue, the cases cited in the papers and what later judgments did to them, what each side says, how the other side may argue, past orders and their directions, and drafts in the court's format. Every line shows the paper and page it came from, so you can check it.

Not legal advice — check everything

CaseMind is a tool for advocates. It does not give legal advice and it does not decide anything for you. Parts of the case file are drafted by AI (they are marked “AI extraction” or “AI inference”); AI can misread a page, miss a fact or state something wrongly. Check every AI-drafted line against the papers, and every authority against the judgment itself, before you rely on it, file it or send it to anyone. You remain responsible for your advice, your pleadings and your arguments.

Your papers

Papers are encrypted in transit and at rest, with a separate key for each case. They are decrypted only on our server while your analysis runs, and the AI provider receives the text only for that request. Deleting a case destroys its key.

You can delete a paper, or a whole case with everything taken from it, at any time from the case.

Plan and usage

  • CaseMind comes with the PLJR Club plans. Analysing a case uses part of your plan limits (hourly, daily, weekly and overall); adding papers and reading or editing the results do not.
  • When a limit is reached it resets on its own, or you can add extra usage. Extra usage does not expire and is used only after your plan limits are full.
  • Each plan includes storage for your papers. If an analysis cannot be finished, nothing is used for the part that failed.

Early access

CaseMind is in early access. PLJR invites users to try it; access may be given for a fixed period and may end. Features, prices and these terms may change before CaseMind opens to everybody. Tell us what is missing or wrong: write to PLJR support at support@pljronline.com.
